The Eskimo
This amazing Eskimo by Tom Eltang is like a very squat Bulldog, with a shank that tapers from the width of the bowl to the stem's button. The shape is wonderfully comfortable, and makes a perfect pipe to tuck into the shirt pocket! Most sport a conventional tapered mouthpiece. The fishtail on this example really grabbed me...
This piece, made by Jack Howell, is absolutely phenomenal. I wish I could say that it was part of my collection, but, alas, it is not. However, its owner was kind enough to allow me to photograph it for presentation.
